Renal disorders are presented at about 50% of myeloma patients. At diagnosis, about 20% of patients have a renal insufficiency. The most common cause of renal complications in multiple myeloma is cast nephropathy, then light chain deposition disease and amyloidosis. The therapy is difficult and should take into consideration the treatment of multiple myeloma and renal insufficiency.
