Abstract
Oral cancer and its treatments, including surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, can lead to significant functional and aesthetic impairments in patients. The restoration of oral function and esthetics is crucial for enhancing the quality of life in these individuals. Dental implants have emerged as a valuable option for oral rehabilitation in post-cancer treatment patients, offering stable and long-lasting solutions for restoring missing teeth and improving masticatory function. This comprehensive review article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the considerations, challenges, and outcomes associated with oral rehabilitation using dental implants after cancer treatment.
